Saab launches BioPower Challenge – A mobile phone game

 

 

Saab BioPower enters a whole new market this week (9 July) asthe 9-3 SportCombi becomes the world’s first BioPower car to appear in the mobile phone game arena.

 

The idea behind the BioPower Challenge is to drive a Saab 9-3 BioPower SportCombi between two locations in the shortest time possible. The game has three different playing levels: Inland, driving from Gothenburg to Trollhättan; Coast with a drive from Trollhättan to the Swedish village of Fiskebäckskil (where new Saab 9-3 range was launched last month) and Mountain, where you drive on an icy road from Narvik in Norway to Jukkasjärvi in Sweden. The fastest driver wins. BioPower Challenge players can compare their results with others around the world by submitting their times to a global “high score” list.

 

The car in the game can be fuelled with either bioethanol or gasoline. However, players should choose wisely because, just as in real life, opting for bioethanol means getting more power and performance from the Saab BioPower car.

 

For budding “mobile phone drivers”, the game will be available via SMS text. To download, simply text SAAB to 71747 in Sweden and +46 737 494 050 in the rest of Europe. The game will also be available at http://www.saab.com later this month.

Falls du es auf dein Handy runterladen möchtest, musst du eine SMS mit dem Text "SAAB" an 0046 (oder +46) 737 494 050 schicken. Steht dort zumindest so. Das kostet aber für den Datentransfer und wohl auch für die SMS.
