There is the slightest chance that GM Heritage will, sometime this winter, do a short run of 70-72 style Sonett III repro bumpers in correct pliable urethane IF enough people will commit. They own the moulds from the 70 S.III restoration but would need sufficient motivation to proceed.

 

I already have one taker.

 

If you have to ask how much, you are missing the point. I guarantee it will be expensive, but if you want right, this is right. They would NOT be fibreglass as one other repro'er does (or claims to do, I've heard more 'I ordered them and they never came' in that case than not.)

 

As of this writing, GM does not have a price in mind or even a cost estimate on their end. That will be determined by the number of SERIOUS, COMMITTED takers who want what they want. With any luck, with more people on board, the price can be held in check.
