Here is the deal. The wheel decoder chip in T5 is a LM1815. It is a zero crossing decoder and it looks at the time between zero crossings. So, if it is holes or if it is teeth, it should work fine. The big deal is that I do not know which zero crossing it is using, the rising or the falling. So, if holes are used, it may make the timing off or it will be off slightly until you move the sensor. For what it is worth, Ford EDIS that uses a similar sensor works identically if it is teeth or gaps, it is just that the timing is shifted slightly. So, if someone makes such a wheel, please note how the pattern is oriented and let us know how much it needs to be shifted. The 117 degree value is based on the tooth pattern.
