Dann der nächste, mal schauen, wie lange er drinsteht - wieder ein steiler Turbo an der Westküste (genauer San Francisco), sehr früher 1985er wohl, weiß außen, rotes Leder innen.

1985 Saab 900 Turbo 16V Hatch (Replaced gearbox, clutch, +more) - $3333 (bernal heights)
1985 Saab 900 Turbo 3 door odometer:. manual transmission. White on maroon red leather interior (rare combo), "manhole cover" turbo wheels, and an extra set of 15 spoke "sunburst" alloy wheels included. Has been lovingly maintained by the first owner, including all Saab recommended services every 5K miles since new. Many thousands of dollars in receipts show that this car has been serviced religiously and has had many parts replaced, no expense spared to keep it running perfectly. Too much to list here. All records available. I have a 4 inch thick folder with every paper, document, brochure, etc. that has anything to do with this car. Original leather folio is still in glovebox tool set is under the trunk floor with spare tire I think. Previous owner was an engineer and even kept track of every refueling (always premium). handles, steers, goes, stops, and corners nice. most importantly, the transmission had a several thousand dollar rebuild (including a brand new clutch) at around 109K. Top end of engine was rebuilt. If you are considering a classic 900 that has over 100K miles and does not have a rebuilt or replaced transmission you are doing so at your own peril because the transmissions in these cars were weak spots and they nearly always fail eventually (autos and 5 speeds both). With this car you get peace of mind that the transmission is strong and good for many many miles. Car is registered through october 2015
Newer Michelins, and has brand new front brakes and rear brake pads. Since I got it it's gotten a newly replaced alternator mounting bracket and bushings, new and upgraded throttlebody turbo microswitch, new water pump, new clutch hose from master to slave cylinder. flushed and replaced transmission oil, coolant, and bled breaks.
This car still gets 23-29 mpg city/highway. on the highway, pulls, corners well, and can haul a ton of stuff in the 6' flat compartment that is created when the rear seats are folded forward. Included are Thule roof racks that include the attachments for carrying bicycles. This was an advanced car in 1985 with power windows, power locks, cruise control, heated and very comfortable leather seats (front and especially back), sunroof, a slant mounted 2L I4 16V turbocharged motor, a 5 speed transmission (better then those early 3-spd autos of the day), lots of cool stuff and space. Reliable motor has never left me stranded, the few small problems that have arisen were easily replaced with readily available and inexpensive parts online.
If you want to buy this car, I HIGHLY advise having intermediate knowledge of how to work on cars, search forums for answers to maintenance issues, and care enough to maintain it properly. I know there are still dedicated Saab enthusiasts out there and these are some of the coolest Saabs ever made, becoming increasingly rare to see especially in this fair condition. I would not advise buying this car if you want to take it to the shop every time something little happens.
The radio recently stopped working but while it worked the cd player/mp3 aux input worked fine, I suspect the faceplate just shorted out or something. This car is not perfect or blemish free, but has served me well as a 3 or 4 day a week driver, mostly for commuting about 20 miles each day.
Some of the current problems that I haven't had time to address include flushing the contaminated
brake fluid for the clutch which has about an inch of play, getting the steering aligned (pulls ever so slightly to the right), Ac compressor belt is not attached although I have it. still has R12 and not converted to r134a refrigerant, in the last 2000 miles odometer only works about 3/4 of the time because of a worn worm gear. Car currently reads in the mid 138k miles range but have listed it at 140k for this reason.
Cosmetic issues: front bumper has cracked trim insert on one side, rear bumper has a buldge in the passenger corner, front air damn has peeling paint, The body is straight with no rust except for a few rust dimples in the paint on the roof from where the previous owner had mounted a bike rack (also included). The clear coat on the hood has deteriorated as one of the pictures shows, but overall the car still looks good and the paint finish is good, old Saabs were painted right. The interior is fair, with the biggest blemish being the drivers seat torn. The dash, as usual, has several cracks in it. The headliner is mostly good but the sunroof was drooping so was slightly cut by the previous owner and is held up by safety pins so it's pretty ratty looking. I replaced the warped glovebox door so it looks good.
Car comes with spoiler, I detached it because I preferred the look without it. I can put it back on if youd like, I went and bought new screws and washers for it too since the old ones were rusted. I've never had the spoiler on with the turbo wheels which I added about 6 months ago, but I bet it would look great. I replaced one of the cracked rear tail lights with a perfect one and I have a new indicator light lens I haven't fixed yet but the current one has a small chip on the top of it. would take minutes to do.
Selling because I bought a new classic car to take care of, and parking is an issue in my neighborhood. Please call me if you have any questions or want to take it for a test drive. Open to trades, willing to trade+cash and vice versa if it's something I like. I like classic euro cars and some newer ones. Make me an offer
This has been a very cool little car, fun to drive. No computers, no assists, just you and the road.
