First, sorry that aim writing at English, I have only read German for one year so I don't think you want me the destroy your languish

 

I saw that you where discussing our Saab 9-3 2,5T GT Nordic ;-)

 

1: Yes, its a 900 but we says its a 9-3 because its sounds better ;-)

2: It haves about 550whp

3:its quick, very quick

It did the quarter mile in 10.88s and 228km/h in top speed.

We have problem whit wheelspinn up to 160km/h whit street drag tires

But its very fast when the grips comes

 

It does 160km/h - 229km/h in 3,5s.....!!!!

Its faster that anything you can buy from the shops

 

We are rebuilding it completely now and we aiming for 9s on the quarter mile and some serious racing on the tracks

We will also be in Belgium in June an compete in King of Europe

We hope for a 9s run, buts its hard

 

The 160-228.52km/h run was a "special" run

It did 201m in 7,6s and 160km/h and 402m in 228,52km/h and 11.1s

That gives 160-228.5km/h in about 3,5s

 

We have now better chassie so it does 0-182km/h in 7s

 

This was the problem under -04 : Grip problem

Yes, that was fun.

Remember that we only used about 340whp when we race against the Ferrari´s

Why?

Its not a Saab if it has 4-wheel drive.

Its also not necessary, its only tree 4-wheel drived cars that is faster in Sweden :-)

You will also loose top speed.

that´s right, with 4WD it´s no real saab anymore. but i think the accleration will be extremly better, execpt if you´ll run lots of sprint races, and max speed isn´t interesting there. and how fast is Vmax now?

i can´t imagine that until 160 km/h the tires get no grip, what a devil car! the front bumper is really nice, it fits perfect to the car.

how fast do you 0-60 mp/h? great APC control, very big!

Ich hab vor den ungs mehr Respect, wenn die ne 10.88 mit Frontantrieb fahren, als ne 10,1 mit Allrad!!!

Zudem gibt es einige hier in Deutschland, die mit etwas mehr Leistung herumfahren, zudem auch besseres Antriebskonzept habe (4x4 oder Heck) und trotzdem nicht nennenswert unter 11 sek kommen.

hm ja, das stimmt schon. aber es tut trotzdem weh, das anzusehen, wenn man da überlegt, so ein schöner wagen, so viel power, aber so viel rauch.

ne ist ja der drehzahlmesser, keine ladedruckanzeige, dachte das wäre der ladedruck weil der die ganze zeit rechts anschlag steht ...

Tanks, we plan to beat even faster cars this year.

 

It was fun to talk to the guy in the 4-wheel drived Audi in one of the movies, I was taking the start easy and was leading almost all the way to the finish line before we passed him.

He was pretty confused, he was 100% sure that he would win :-D

Übersetzung: Ich glaube nicht, dass 600 PS an der Hinterachse ausreichen, um die 9 sec zu knacken. Hier war letztes Jahr ein Audi 100 Quattro mit über 600PS, 900kg und 10,21 sec dragking.

Und ja, Schweden hat ne nette Technische Überprüfung (bilpofning) Licht und Bremsen müssen gehen, der Rest ist fast egal :D

Well, don't say that.

We cut the time from 11.2s to 10.88 in only two races without any big changes

 

The car was capably to maybe 10,5s last year.

We will shift one time less this year, 100hp more, wheelibars and better chassis

 

A friend of our lowered his time with a FWD Golf from 11.1s to 10,2 s with wheelibars.

 

We will probably be allot in Bilsport this year.

The car will weigh about 1000kg with driver and fuel up

yes 6,2 is good but i´m almost at 100km/h ... but thats fast enough for the regular street driver as me i think :)
