Hi Knud,

I did try & adjust the large centre screw on the overboost switch but it was stuck solid, I could not move it..
most people I know in the UK just bypass the overboost switch

Hi pda!

The screw is secured with some locktite, but you can get it free by turning it a bit harder. It brakes loose and then you can turn it easily. :mrgreen:

denkt an die kondensatoren in den APC-boxen.
die sind uralt u haben dementsprechend ihre kapazität schon mehr oder weniger geändert.
deshalb werden zwei "identische" boxen nie identisch sein.
ausserdem gibts ja noch toleranzen ab werk.

I`ll try to adjust it late by turning the centre screw, but in the mean time I have bypassed it completely..
I know a lot of UK Saabers have done this with no ill effects..

now the T8 sit/holds 1 Bar solid..
the T8 is going on a Rolling Road (Dyno) on Sunday to see what it is producing now..

also just picked up a Volvo intercooler to fit to it....

Just been told the Rolling Road has been postponed for a week or two
but I'll try & get on another one soon

Really hope that the Dyno is fitted with a big Ventilator-because the Volvo-Intercooler wont work without it when the Saab is standing still on the Dyno...

Meiner Meinung nach ist das APC gut und recht bei einem modifizierten Lader, der locker 2 bar bläst. Da hat es auch was zu regeln! Beim annähernden "serien" 900er regelt das APC doch nur den Fahrspass, der Motor leidet bei kleineren Mods am Benzindruck und der Zündung jedoch nicht wirklich. Mal von der Kraftstoffqualität in einigen Ländern abgesehen.

Ich merke es am Beispiel meines 900 ex. Lpt's. Ohne APC, aber den kleinen Mods ist das Laderverhalten unzensiert spürbar. Druck bei Enddrehzahl 0,9bar. Reicht eigentlich, keine Gefahr und mit Mitsu Lader kein Problem.

@ Griffin: Wie hält dein S denn 1,2bar Dauerdruck aus?? Klar, Volvo LLK, aber kann doch nicht nur daran liegen! Wenn irgendwie möglich muss das meiner auch schaffen, erst ohne APC!
Im Winter auch ohne grossen LLK!

@marco: wie regelst du bei dir den LD? Nur übers Wastegate oder nach Hirsch?
 
aha. ich glaub ich bau morgen mein apc aus, wenn das erst bei mod. lader und 2 bar wirklich regelt :lol:

spar ich locker nen kilo, geil. :ugly:

Ok, ok......war nur mal oberflächlich einen auf "APCbasteltückensystem" gemacht!
Natürlich ist das APC bei jedem Gasstoss dein stetiger Freund und Helfer, doch funktioniert es bis zu einem gewissen LD wirklich ohne.
Ist natürlich auch nicht die vernünftigste Lösung, doch beim "S" Lpt Modell ist der Einbau halt ein gewisser Aufwand...

APc ist bei einem LPT in 2 1/2 h verbaut...(gäll Andreas) :buttrock: ! Ist doch mal gar nicht so Lange oder???!!!!!!!!!!

the Volvo intercooler is not fitted yet, I'm still running with the standard Saab C900 item at the moment
so it should not be a problem..
